5000W DIY EBIKE KIT

This powerful 5000W ebike rear hub motor kit is a significant upgrade from 1000W or 1500W, and even the 3000W kits. It offers much more torque and a higher top speed. It needs to be fitted to a designated ebike frame, such as the Stealth Bomber, Stealth clones, or equivalent, as the rear dropout width is 155mm. It is not suitable for standard bicycles, as they typically have a 135mm dropout width only. The 80A (or select the 100A or 150A Sabvoton) should be paired with a 72V battery (Battery not included in the kit). This kit is intented for off-road use only. Please check your local laws and regulations to make sure that this kit suits you before purchasing.

PACKAGE INCLUDES

• 1 x 5000W brushless direct drive (gearless) rear hub motor laced to strong MTX rim
• 1 x 80a (or select 100a or 150a Sabvoton with bluetooth connection) brushless motor controller (please ensure your battery can match this 80-amperage or 100 to 150-amperage continuous power output otherwise it can damage your battery. Feel free to ask if unsure)
• 1 x LCD SW900 display for 80a controller or UKC1 display when selecting the Sabvoton controller
• 1 x pedal assist crank sensor (PAS)
• 1 x throttle full twist (right hand) and matching left hand handlebar grip
• 1 x pair of brake levers (suited for mechanical/cable brakes)

DESCRIPTION

This kit offers much more power than the 1000W or 1500W (and even the 3000W) kits we sell and can reach speeds of over 90 km/h with a 72V battery. Please check your local laws and guidelines when using this kit on your bike and apply the 25 km/h 250W limiter when using this kit in public areas. Generic instructions are included in this kit only (i.e. due to the many DIY variables possible, no specific instructions are included). WARRANTY

• General Wear and Tear is not covered by warranty.
• Damages occurring due to incorrect fitment are not covered by warranty. Please contact us in case of being unsure of the correct installation or operation of the kit beforehand.
• Please take care to properly fit and protect the wiring coming out from the motor axle as this can be damaged if not correctly aligned with your disc rotor.
• Please take care to seat the motor axle fully into the bikes' dropouts during installation (or after puncture repairs) and tighten the 21 mm axle nuts on either side of the motor firmly. Damage caused by incorrect installation is not covered by warranty.
• If using the bike in full power mode, it is highly recommended to fit torque arms (purchased separately) to both sides of the bike (two in total). On top of this, the wheel will need to fitted to a designated ebike frame with strong steel rear dropout slots. Not doing so can result in the motor axle spinning loosely within the dropouts during operation (due to high torque) and cause damage to the wiring directly at/near the motor. This type of damage is not covered by warranty.
• The kit is not waterproof and therefore should not be immersed in water.
• 3-month warranty provided upon receipt of the item.
• Although this kit is renowned for being well designed and long-lasting, damages occurring from incorrect use of the kit is not covered by warranty. The kit is not suitable for doing jumps, impacts with kerbs, exceeding the recommended weight limit or downhill riding. The kit is most suited to riding on well paved surfaces and enjoying light gravel tracks.

NOTES

• The rim is best suited for 2.35” to 2.5” wide tyres
• AU regulations require that the kit does not exceed 250W continuous power and 25 km/h on public roads and paths; therefore, please ensure this is followed at your own responsibility.
