Rear Wheel Ebike Motor Complete Conversion Kit with LCD Meter

This Rear Electric Bike kit transforms your standard bicycle into a high-performance electric bike, suitable for 135mm rear drop-out width and hydraulic or mechanical disc brake setups (not for v brakes). The motor provides substantial power for uphill and windy conditions, supporting 48V or 52V batteries (not included). This kit is intented for off-road use only. Battery

This kit works with a 36V, 48V or 52V battery. The paired battery needs to have a minimum 30a continuous power output.

Torque arms

Torque arms are required to safely operate this kit. Each bicycle conversion is unique and some DIYers may prefer to fabricate their own torque plate while others may wish to purchase a ‘torque arm’.

Tools

Specialty tools needed for installation, such as a crank removal tool for PAS and a freewheel removal tool for gear adjustments, are not included in the kit. Additional tools required include side cutters (for cable ties), a 21mm spanner (for wheel nuts), a Philips head screwdriver (to adjust the derailleur post-installation), a screwdriver with a torx bit or a torx key set (for disc brake screws), a bicycle pump, and a set of Allen keys. If you feel uncertain about the installation, please contact us for assistance.

Freewheel/gears

As there are a few potential variables (e.g. 6spd vs. 7spd vs. single speed), a freewheel is not included within this set.

Disc brakes

Disc brakes are not included and can be swapped from your current bike.

Hydraulic Brake cut-off sensor

This kit includes replacement mechanical brake levers (with inbuilt cut-off sensors) e.g. for mechanical brakes only. If your donor bike is fitted with hydraulic brakes, instead of mechanical/cable brakes, then it is recommended to purchase and install a compatible ‘E-Bike hydraulic brake cut-off sensor’.
